Today marks World Refugee Day, and QE is proud to launch a special edition celebrating the Queer Ethiopian refugee community while raising awareness about their experiences.Many queer Ethiopians are forced to leave their home country in search of safety and freedom. Yet the journey toward a new life often comes with its own challenges and sacrifices. These stories focus on love and difficult choices that shape the lives of queer Ethiopian refugees.Over the past two months, QE provided storytelling mentorship to participants as they documented their day-to-day lives through photography.
